To help you navigate the world of SAP Build, SAP has incredible learning journeys awaiting you. The best part? They are completely free! The learning journeys provide a structured path to discover the ins and outs of SAP Build, with interactive modules, engaging exercises, and real-world examples. Whether you're a beginner or looking to deepen your knowledge, these journeys cater to all skill levels.
To begin, I suggest you go through the below free learning journey called “Compose and automate with SAP Build the No-Code Way”:
A nice intro to LCNC (low-code/no-code) where you’ll learn how to develop simple no-code applications, automate business process automations and design engaging business sites using the SAP Build platform.
You will practice visual programming using SAP Build Apps, leverage SAP Build Process Automation to create an automated workflow and learn how to design business sites using SAP Build Work Zone.
The 4 units require 4 hours of work and allow you get a free record of achievement. For this you’ll need to pass all the quizzes to get your digital badge. Don’t forget to publish it on LinkedIn and share with the world 👍
Once you’re done with the “Compose and automate with SAP Build the No-Code way”, you can jump to the next level to become a SAP LCNC developer 😎
You can now take the journey “Utilize SAP Build for Low-Code/No-Code Applications and Automations for Citizen Developers”:
Easy and short, it has 6 units and requires 12 hours workload. Not so bad to start a no-code SAP career!
Through this learning journey, you will understand the need for and role of a citizen developer and how to develop simple low-code/no-code applications and business process automations using the SAP Build toolset. While practicing visual programming, you will leverage SAP Build Process Automation to create a workflow with robotic process automation, use SAP Build apps to develop a mobile app and an SAP extension, and discover how to construct business sites using SAP Build Work Zone. You will learn how to prepare for the SAP Certification for citizen developers and explore resources for low-code/no-code scenarios.
It’s free of charge and will prepare you for the certification exam: SAP Certified Citizen Developer Associate - SAP Build Low-code/No-code Applications and Automations
The exam is paid and you can take it via different vouchers like this one which costs around 200€ or if you are a student you can try this one which is around 130€.

If you are struggling to access the testing environments and development tools (in most of the cases it might happen if you are not an SAP partner), you can try SAP AppGyver. To make it simple, let’s call it toe old SAP Build component to develop mobile/web apps. You can sign in for free.
Please note that AppGyver has been acquired by SAP a few years ago.
